🟢 1. Switch on Vive Flow and access the settings.
💡Tip : If the HypnoVR application launches automatically when the headset starts up, you are in Kiosk mode.
Follow the steps below to exit this mode and access the Vive Flow settings.
Steps :
- Connect Vive Flow to a power source (e.g. external battery).
The headset starts up on the HypnoVR application (Kiosk mode).
- On the VR headset, hold down the On/Off button for 3 seconds.
- Using the joystick, select Exit Kiosk mode, then confirm with :
- the large button or
- the back button on the controller.
- If a password is required, enter 1234.
- You are now on the Vive Flow home menu.
- Switch on the Vive Flow controller by pressing the small round button for a few seconds (it vibrates when detected).
- Use the rear trigger or the large button to make selections.
- To scroll through the menus, slide your finger over the large button.
- At the bottom of the screen, select the⚙️ Settings icon.
🌐 2. Connect Vive Flow to Wi-Fi
💡 Tip : The Wi-Fi connection is only needed to transmit your usage data. The device works without an Internet connection during sessions.
Steps:
- From the Vive Flow home menu, open Settings (⚙️).
- Click on Connectivity.
- Activate Wi-Fi.
- Connect to an available Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the password if necessary.
Warning:
If you don't have the password for a public network, don't connect.
You can use your phone's connection sharing instead.
🔵 3. Connect or reconnect the Vive Flow to the tablet.
Steps:
- From the Home menu, open Settings (⚙️).
- In the left-hand column, select Connectivity.
- Click on Bluetooth, then on Associate a new device.
- On the tablet, open the HypnoVR Companion application.
- Click on the headset you wish to associate, then validate the connection.
✅ Your tablet is now connected to the Vive Flow headset.
🟠 4. Activate Kiosk mode to launch HypnoVR automatically.
💡 Tip: If HypnoVR launches automatically when the headset starts up, you're already in Kiosk mode.
Steps:
- From the Home menu, open Settings (⚙️).
- Find Kiosk Mode and click on it.
- Check that the "Use Gaze" option is activated.
- Scroll down (by sliding your finger over the large button) to Passenger Mode, then activate it.
- Select Enter Kiosk Mode to return to HypnoVR Dental.
- If a password is requested, ignore it.
🚀 HypnoVR will now launch automatically each time the headset starts up.
📤 5. Share usage data to get your report
Steps:
- Perform steps 2, 3 and 4 above.
- When the HypnoVR application is open and the headset is connected to the Internet, usage data will be sent automatically.
- Your HypnoVR support will then be able to send you a detailed usage report.

- Repeatstep 2 (Wi-Fi connection)
- Repeatstep 3 (connection to tablet)
- Disable Wi-Fi
- Repeatstep 4 (Kiosk mode)
- Contact HypnoVR support to receive your usage report.
